Birthday visit

Alistair and SamSam have spent the last week with us. It's been really good to have them here. Samuel has taken great delight in having his uncle and auntie here with him - so willing to play with him. He's had two days at home with them.

Saturday Lasse and Lisette came down to spend the day with us. It's my birthday on Friday, and it was really nice to have both our brothers and their girlfriends here for once :-) We ate, talked, went for a walk and enjoyed ourselves. Samuel got so happy in the morning when he heard who was coming, that he jumped up and said "Thank you". And really - it was that good!

We went walking along the fjord and in the wood. I think we all enjoyed the fresh air and sunshine!

Fireman Samuel

Here he is. Our very own firefighter all dressed up for fastelavn (Danish festival at beginning of Lent). He is so very proud of his costume and has worn it non-stop since Satuday morning, when the jacket was finished. What we do in a couple of months, when it's too small, I don't know!

And here he is after pre-school with a slice of toast.

Visiting cousins

Saturday Samuel and I had a visit from "our" cousins. That is my cousin Søren came by with his two children Andreas (3) and Kate (two small months). Samuel and Andreas had SO much fun running, fighting (they were dinosaurs), playing hide and seek in a little den (hule). And telling each other off for taking the best toy/seat/etc. And finally after dinner they went into a coma in front of a common her: Lighning McQueen!

Søren and I had little time to have an actually conversation between sorting out the boys, Søren changing or feeding Kate and me holding Kate and cooing  over her. Still, it was really good to see them!
As I put Samuel to bet at night he told me, that he wanted Andreas again. In fact, he was quite prepared to go home with them as they left :-)
