// Merry Christmas! We have just come back from a quiet service in Vejle - the big Christmas service is on the 24th in the evening. It was a small number this morning, but we had a good time. Duncan and I shared the service. That was noce, because it's not very often we get to do that anymore. But it's a good way to be together. Duncan let the service, where everybody had been invited to bring along a Christmas present - and they had! It was fun ;-) I think the best one was the electrical tape measurer... I preached, but had very hard competition to dag. It just so happened that Naomi, a little girl on 2, recently adopted from South Africa, had come to church with her parents. There's nothing wrong with that - on the contrary. But Naomi's dad had brought his new slippers as his present. And so, while I was telling about the wonder of God becoming human, and that we need to remember both body and spirit if we are to be whole and healthy people, well, Naomi was balancing on one leg, to try on her dad's slippers - on top of her own shoes. It was not easy to keep a straight face!
Today we're vegging out. And Tomorrow we get on the plane to Manchester to visit familie in England. Eventhough there's many people to see, there'll be time to relax and go for a walk in Sutton Park. It'll be great. And we're very glad that this year we have the oppertunity to celebrate Christmas in both Danish and English!
